Microsoft Small Business Server
2008
Microsoft will launch
Windows Small Business Server 2008 in November. SBS 2008
will come in two version - standard and premium. Premium
will require two servers - the second for the SQL
2008 database.
Both
versions come with Server 2008, Exchange 2007, SharePoint
Services 3.0, Server Update Services, ForeFront Security for
Exchange, Live OneCare for Server and integration with Office
Live.
The
standard version will be priced at $1,089 which includes 5
CALS. The premium version will be priced at $1,899, which also
includes 5 CALS.

Employee Spotlight
Angel Cardenas is
a senior network engineer who joined the Lanspeed team in
2007. Angel has extensive experience with Cisco and
Microsoft, and also is an instructor at Santa Barbara
City College.
Angel enjoys spending
time with his family, going to movies, watching his kids play
soccer, and taking walks.
